As a Video Production Intern for the Roger Williams University Marketing and Communications Department since May 2025, my work directly contributes to enhancing the university’s visual presence and promotional content. This role is a hands-on application of my technical and creative skills, supporting the university’s broader communication objectives.
Here are my detailed responsibilities:
• Video Production and Editing: My primary duty involves editing b-roll footage into short promotional videos for Roger Williams University. This process is comprehensive, encompassing video editing, audio editing, and color correction, all executed using professional software such as Premier Pro.
• Photography and Photo Editing: I am responsible for taking candid photos of events and campus life. Following capture, these photos are edited using Adobe software to ensure high-quality visual content for university use.
• Event Support: On significant event days, I actively assist the photo and video team. This support includes hands-on involvement with filming, equipment management, and crowd staging, ensuring the smooth capture of important university moments.
This internship allows me to leverage and refine key skills such as Videography, Adobe Premiere Pro, and Photography, all while directly supporting the university’s efforts to showcase its events, campus life, and overall brand through compelling visual storytelling.
