Since 2022, I’ve held the role of web manager with the Roger Williams University chapter of PRSSA, building our digital infrastructure and deepening our network through national conference participation, student-alumni engagement, and campaign-based experiences.

Conference Representation & Team Recognition

I represented RWU PRSSA at two major national PR events. I attended the PRSSA regional Conference in San Antonio and PRSA ICON in Nashville where I connected with industry professionals and brought fresh ideas back to our chapter. I was also a member of RWU’s 2025 Bateman Case Study Competition team, developing a strategic campaign for EveryLibrary. Although our team did not place nationally, the experience strengthened my real‑world PR skills in research, planning, execution, and presentation.

Digital Infrastructure & Communications Tools

In my role as web manager, I spearheaded the development of an internal alumni search engine, enabling students to track former members’ career pathways for networking and internship opportunities. I also launched and currently oversee an online newsroom that highlights student projects, events, and industry trends—enhancing our chapter’s visibility and professionalism.

Chapter Growth & Digital Strategy Award

During my sophomore year, I received the RWU PRSSA chapter’s “Greatest Growth” award in recognition of leading the expansion and improvement of our digital presence, membership engagement, and programming. This award acknowledged my successful efforts in amplifying the chapter’s impact both on campus and online.

My experience with PRSSA has combined professional development, digital innovation, and leadership recognition. By attending conferences, building digital tools, and contributing to a national competition team, I’ve helped strengthen RWU’s chapter infrastructure and broaden student opportunities in public relations.
